"Fieldrunners 2"- The King of Tower Defense Game on iPhone is Back!

The wait has finally come to an end as the sequel to the most amazing Tower Defense game for the iOs device has debut later this day (only the iPhone and iPod Touch version, iPad vesion coming shortly). Fieldrunners 2 has tons of new stuff to offer. These includes new legions of soldiers and a gaggle of new tricks, they’re ready to conquer the globe, tons of levels with great challenges to conquer, loads of new towers to use and a lot more features that made it the perfect TD game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. In addition to the features, the game has also improved in terms of its graphics as it's packed with a retina display makes hyper detailed hand painted artwork shine. 

But what really made me buy the game is that all of the new stuffs are unlockable in game. Meaning, no DLC, no in-app purchase, but just pure-free fun once your purchased it! I love the original game, but certainly the sequel is a kick-ass awesome game! Here's some teasing screens from the game: 

Here you can see the world map of the game. This is where you select the levels you want to play. Each levels has different layouts which includes trenches, bridges and many more to make the strategic choices come into play. In addition to that, levels has different challenges which may be time trial, sudden death or puzzle type, which by the way, makes the game more fun.

The image above shows various items in the game. These items are a life savior in times when a lot of fieldrunners has run through your defense. You can put some mines in their path to blow them away or you can use the rewind item to go back 3 turns to undo the things you have wrongfully done.

I think this is one of the best features of Fieldrunners 2: The handful of towers you can choose to hurt pesky (but cute) runners. As what we know, there are 20 unique towers you can use in FR 2 and the above is just a glimpse of what you can have. I tell you now, the other towers are really cool and devastating!

The next images you will see are some gameplay of Fieldrunners 2. You can spot new runners from it and you can notice as well the improvement of the graphics which is totally awesome!

So far, I've enjoyed playing the game and I just can't keep my hands off my device. The gameplay is really addictive as expected and as I've said before, Fieldrunners 2 is the perfect Tower Defense Game for iPhone and iPod Touch!
