How to Reset Your Forgotten Apple ID Password?

Apple ID is the most important thing to Apple users, but the most common issue for them is that they forget the password of their Apple ID. This tutorial is mainly introducing how to reset your forgotten Apple ID password.

Step1: Go to this site iforgot.apple.com, enter your Apple ID and the verification code.

Step2: Enter your trusted phone number and click Continue.

Step3: Now you need to choose whether to reset your password on a different device or using the trusted number you gave. Here I selected Reset from another device as an example. If your devices run on iOS 10 or later, I recommend choosing the same. After it’s selected, click Continue.

Step4: It will let you know to which device instructions for resetting your Apple ID have been sent. Click Done.

Step5: Open the device listed. A message will pop up about resetting your password. Click Allow.

Step6: Enter the passcode you use to unlock the device.

Step7: Then enter your new password and verify it. Click Next.

And that's it! After just a few minutes, you now have a new Apple ID password you can use to buy apps in the App Store, to log in to iCloud, etc.
