Blizzard Sues German Company for Selling Overwatch Cheat
This Germany Company named Bossland is on hot waters right now as Blizzard will be suing them for distributing an Overwatch cheat program. Oh, let me rephrase that: They are selling an Overwatch Cheat Program!
The cheat program named WatchOver Tyrant will give you radar which basically reveals friendly and hostile heroes all over the map. So yeah, it’s some sort of a map hack or something. To give you an idea on what exactly is WathOver Tyrant, then check out the early version’s setting of the cheat program below:
In the suit, Blizzard says Bossland’s cheats are “continuing to cause, massive and irreparable harm to Blizzard” by violating its copyrights and terms of service, potentially causing players to stop playing Overwatch (or not buy it in the first place) and of doing so with the full knowledge that what they’re doing is illegal.
In the law suit, Blizzard said that the WatchOver Tyrant cheat program is ““continuing to cause, massive and irreparable harm to Blizzard” by violating its copyrights and terms of service. Well, who wants to buy or play a game full of cheaters anyway? Cheat programs like this will definitely ruin the game. To be exact, it will take out the fun and competitive nature of the game and leave it as a boring game in the end. It just like Fel magic, it takes life to power it: Just like Bossland, they ruin the game, they fill their pockets. Simple as that.
