You Can Go Straight to the End of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Without Going Through the Story
It seems that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will give players soo much freedom as they revealed that players can skip the story of the game and just go right straight to the final boss when they want to.
During Nintendo's E3 2016 press conference, series Producer Eiji Aonuma revealed that the world in the game will be completely open, which basically means that players can skip most of the story content and go right ahead to the part where they want to be. He explains that "users are able to go to the very end goal without revealing why Link woke up the way he did and where he did," saying that players will have the option on how they want to play the game.
Although you can skip the story, Aonuma does not recommend doing this. Well even me don't recommend this. We all know Zelda to having a great storyline and many fans would agree that they will be Breathe of the Wild because they are expecting a good chunk of story telling on it.
Aonuma also comments on some speedrun possibilities for Breath of the Wild, saying that it might be fun for players to race and see who finishes the game first.
"Users may not actually get the full story depending on how they play this game and how they strategize and solve puzzles. Users are able to go to the very end goal without revealing why Link woke up the way he did and where he did. Whether you want to reveal the storyline and find out why Link woke up, or you want to just go straight to the goal, that's an option totally up to the user. Anybody who can go straight to the goal without doing anything else—there's two possibilities. Either they're a really good gamer, or they could be somebody that's a little bit crazy. But it's not impossible. I created the game like that. Maybe it might be fun for fans to compete in a challenge for who can clear it first." — Eiji Aonuma
